Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • Sweet potato

    300g

  • onion

    1/2 piece

  • butter

    20g

  • flour

    20g

  • milk

    300cc

  • water

    200cc

  • Chicken Consommé

    2 pieces

  • Acacia Honey

    大さじ1

  • Black pepper

    a little

  • Parsley (chopped)

    Appropriate amount

How to make it

1Dice the sweet potato into 1cm cubes and soak in water.
Cut the onion into similar size pieces.

2Heat butter in a pan and fry ①.

3Once the butter has been mixed evenly, add the flour in two batches and stir fry well again.
Add the milk in 2 to 3 batches, stirring and simmer for about 5 minutes until there are no lumps.

4Add the water, chicken consomme and Acacia Honey and simmer for a further 7 to 8 minutes.
Remove about 10 sweet potatoes for decoration.

5Once cooled, blend in a blender until smooth.
Serve in serving bowls and finish by sprinkling black pepper and sprinkling parsley on top.

《One point advice》
Adjust the amount of Acacia Honey depending on the sweetness of the sweet potato.
If you don't have a blender, you can simply mash it with a rolling pin or the bottom of a ladle.
If the consistency is too thick, add more milk or water to adjust.
