Product Description

"Manuka Honey (monofloral manuka honey)" is attracting attention worldwide for its health benefits.

[Characteristics of honey]

We place hives in natural Manuka forests and our beekeeping staff, working together with New Zealand beekeepers, harvest the honey when the flowers bloom, then bottle it one by one at our factory in Japan.

[The Manuka tree]

① "Manuka" is a shrub of the Myrtaceae family, a wild plant that can be found in New Zealand. It is a tea plant that grows to a height of 1m to 3m, and grows naturally in unpolluted nature. It blooms with pretty white or pink flowers about 1 to 2cm in diameter from spring to summer (November to January). (New Zealand is located in the Southern Hemisphere, and the seasons are opposite to those of Japan.)

② "MANUKA" is the name given by the Maori language. Around 1200 AD, Maori people who were cast away from Polynesia to this island discovered "Manuka". The habit of drinking tea made from "Manuka" leaves is the basis of the health of the Maori people.

The medicinal properties of the Manuka tree itself are remarkable, and in ancient times the Maori people and explorer Cook used the sap and leaves extensively as medicine. This custom continues to this day, and Manuka is becoming more and more highly regarded. Especially now that the antibacterial properties of Manuka honey have become clear.

[Recommended usage]

Please consume as is, approximately 3 teaspoons per day.
If you don't like the unique taste and aroma of Manuka Honey, we recommend eating it with yogurt or toast.

The color and taste vary depending on the place of origin and season.

*Pure honey may crystallize and turn white depending on the type of flower and storage temperature. It is also delicious to eat as is.
To melt it, place the amount you wish to consume in hot water at approximately 40 to 42 degrees Celsius.

*The color of the product you receive may differ from the product photo.
(The label may be different due to design changes, but the contents remain the same.)

*Since honey is a natural product, do not give it to infants under 1 year old.
