Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • Pork Belly Block

    About 400g

  • The green part of green onion

    20㎝

  • Sliced ginger

    4 to 5 sheets

  • Soft-boiled egg

    4 pieces

  • Bok-choy

    1 bunch

  • Soy sauce [seasoning]

    大さじ3

  • Apple & Honey [Seasoning]

    大さじ2

  • Mirin/Sake/Oyster sauce [Seasonings]

    1 tablespoon each

How to make it

1Poke several holes in the pork belly with a bamboo skewer, then cut it into 2cm thick pieces. Boil the bok choy briefly.

2Add enough water (not included in the recipe) to a heat-resistant bowl so that the pork belly is completely covered, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and heat in a 600W microwave for 7 minutes.

3Discard the water from step 2, rinse lightly, rub in the seasonings, cover with plastic wrap and leave for about 15 minutes.

4Add the sliced ginger and the green parts of the green onions, cook for 3 minutes, stir by turning, and cook for a further 3 minutes.

5Add the soft-boiled eggs and leave covered with plastic wrap until the flavors blend. Serve in a bowl and garnish with bok choy to finish.
