Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • Material 1: Chicken thigh meat (250g)

    Ingredient 2: Frying oil (to taste)

  • Ingredient 3: Potato starch (to taste)

    [Chicken Marinade] 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce.

  • Chicken marinade: sake.

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Spicy Manuka Honey Sauce: Soy Sauce

  • Spicy Manuka Honey Sauce with Vinegar

  • Spicy Manuka Honey Sauce: Manuka Honey

    2 teaspoons

  • Spicy Manuka Honey Sauce with Doubanjiang

    1 teaspoon

  • Spicy Manuka Honey Sauce: Finely chopped white leeks.

How to make it

1Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Mix the ingredients for the [Spicy Manuka Honey Sauce] well.

2Add the ingredients for [Chicken Seasoning] and the chicken to a plastic bag and mix by hand. Leave to marinate for at least an hour. Drain off the liquid and coat with potato starch.

3Deep fry the chicken in oil heated to 170 degrees until fragrant.

4Place in a bowl and top with the spicy Manuka Honey sauce to finish.
